Light elbow creases reflect
The too many nights you spent at your desk
Filing papers as your letters tapered off
Sooner before the next sentence,
While your toes started to bloom in the sand of sleep.
Your light dances on the water
And plays with the tide drawing veins in the sand,
Bringing everything to life.
This soft smile cushions the fall to a glide,
