Chasing Spectra Around The Sun

I once read a book with your name in it.
Mine was on the cover beside a heart-shaped lock,
Now stuck full of bent and broken keys.
You put your finger on my lips,
You put your lips on my eye
And you kissed me to sleep.
You whispered, "There's no need to see.
There's no need to feel."
Your presence sat on my nightstand
And stirred when I let a breath slip out.
You are living a different life than mine
You are seen by different eyes than mine,
Your words were tucked in between the sheets,
But I opened my eyes to a page not found.
