Good Winter For A Better one

A fan pulling from a closed window,
Panning engines and hydraulics,
Fading in and gliding out.
Wind catches under your wings
And slips you off your feet.
I excuse the silent asymmetry
Hidden in backdrop melon light,
I've every evening to suspect
Falling asleep in retrospect.
