Cinnamon Eggs

Delusion is tied down with a braided ring,
A conclusion is drawn on the length of a string
To hold it together, the texture and color that
Dominates my wrist in clasping undertones,
Humming the harmonies in sweet afterglow.
How much sugar does it take to give way
From the words that you speak
That don't mean what you say?
The melody nuzzles against your warm throat
And the sickness dies down in its thickness of coat.
