Distance-Importance

Recurrences disturb,
Occurring at the waking moment
Lingering slowly that
Vinegar spoils the levity of life.
Dyspepsia is mixing with a drink never had,
Unidentifiable in the sugar dreams and sand.
Desaturation exaggerates a truly unbalanced state
So that somber politicians tie flags on their faces,
Gagged and bound like true gentlemen.
Lied-out, they stay silent
Debating the dead,
The memories unsettled
Ghosting somewhere in my head.
